Article Marketing - Write your way into search results, traffic and $$$.::. http://internet-celeb.blogspot.com/

In my regular scouring of the internet marketing do's and don'ts, I
come across an endless sea of opinions, many of them contradictory of
other opinions by internet marketers and gurus. You may have seen
something like what I'm referring to. Some internet marketers will tell
you "Adsense is dead", while others assure you that "There's still life
in Adsense and other Pay Per Click programs!" One of the topics that
has come to my attention recently is regarding the use of articles to
raise the search ranking of your website and do some honest to goodness
SEO (Search Engine Optimization).

There are several aspects to SEO, of course. This article takes a
look at articles and how their content can be used to your advantage to
build your website popularity.

One opinion I've seen time and time again that has been trumpeted
by scores of marketers, and that has never been contested, is "search
engines love content." I'll go a step further and say, "Search engines
love original content."

If you want to see what I'm referring to, do a search under "article
sites" and see how many directories you pull up. Article directories
are out there in droves, keeping a large supply of articles that can be
(and usually are) used by people publishing ezines or adding content to
their sites. I've submitted articles to several of these sites for
free. Here's why submitting articles is a win-win situation:

Win for you: You get to include a "resource box" with your article,
which can be a link back to your website (or the affiliate site you are
promoting)

Win for them: ezine publishers need to come up with articles every
day/week/month. Webmasters want their proverbial "regularly updated
content." Article directories give them the ammo they need to keep
their updates regular and their content fresh.

Of course, this does mean you will need to write. If you like to
write already, great - get started! If writing is about as fun for you
as pulling your teeth with rusty jumper cables, all is not lost. My
suggestion is to look at sites like Elance (www.elance.com) and look
for writers on the topic you want to cover. Elance has a bidding
system, which allows you to post a project for bids and let prospective
writers bid on it.

Once you have your article written, you will need to submit it.
There is an endless array of article sites on the web. You can also
take a shortcut by trying an article submission tool. Here's one I use
that works very well (In fact, this article you're reading now was
submitted using this very software): http://tinyurl.com/2nhqft

Something else to remember - SEO will take awhile. Even if you have
submitted articles, you must give them time to make their way into the
hands of those people who will publish them on sites and on the web.

So there you have it - articles help you promote your web site the write way!

Affiliate Marketing - The Truth About Earnings.::. http://internet-celeb.blogspot.com/

Affiliate marketing is one of the most popular ways of earning money on
the Internet. It offers a lot of advantages over other methods of
sales, including the fact that you don't actually have to stock any
inventory to make sales. As an affiliate, you only need to advertise a
product and direct the customer to the sales page for the product
itself, which is usually run by the retailer or creator of that
product. If the customer buys, you receive a portion of the sales
price, even though you didn't actually engage in a transaction or hand
over product. What could be easier than that?

While the concept may be easy, most people are lured into affiliate
marketing because of promises of making lots of money, rather than
making money easily. You don't have to search too long on the Internet
to come across a page that tells you that you can earn thousands of
dollars per day as an affiliate. While the mechanism is simple, it's
actually the promise of a huge volume of cash that tends to attract
people to this type of business. Many people are blinded by the big
numbers, however, and fail to realize how unusual it is to make huge
money as an affiliate right off the bat.

You can certainly earn money as an affiliate, but those who earn
the six figure incomes often have something going for them that most
people do not - a huge mailing list. Having a large group of customers
at the ready when a new product comes along is a large part of making a
lot of money in marketing. Those who have spent years developing a
large mailing list with ten thousand, twenty thousand or one hundred
thousand names can often make thousands of dollars just by sending out
a single e-mail advertisement. Such success is possible, but it comes
as the result of years of hard work. Advertisements along the lines of
"I made $30,000 in a week advertising product X" may technically be
true, but they often hide the unspoken "by sending e-mail to the
250,000 people on my list!"

Building a mailing list takes time. It isn't particularly hard, but it
is a vital component of making money through affiliate marketing. With
a large mailing list, you have a loyal, proven group of customers who
are eager to buy from you. This is far better than randomly trying to
get strangers to buy whatever it is you are promoting. Anyone who is
interested in trying affiliate marketing needs to take the promises of
huge, six figure incomes with a grain of salt and understand that such
results are not typical. That doesn't mean you can't make money, it
only means that you need to have realistic expectations of how much you
can earn right away. As long as you understand that you can't get rich
overnight, you will be OK.

Cost Effective Online Marketing Strategies for Veterinarians.::. http://internet-celeb.blogspot.com/

Standard advertising practices are so important; having an ad in the
yellow pages of your phone book or newspaper does a tremendous amount
to bring in new business. However, what do you do to differentiate
yourself from all the other veterinarians listed in the same yellow
pages? A pretty ad does not tell potential clients that you are better
then the next guy with a DVM after his name.

These days more pet owners are researching their pet’s health
information online. Internet marketing should be a part of your overall
marketing campaign, and can be done successfully for little or no
money. Make the most of this medium by following a few easy steps:

Your Website

You do have a website don’t you? If you don’t, you
should. A website can tell potential clients so much more about your
practice, your staff, your standards of care, and so much more. This is
where the potential client can really get to know your veterinary
practice in a way the ad in the yellow pages just can’t do. You
don’t have to spend a great deal of money to build your website.
If you don’t want to hire a website development firm, talk to
your staff members – chances are one of them has some web
developing skills and can produce quite a nice and effective website
for you. There are also many website templates online that have
beautiful animal and veterinary themes, which allow you to simply add
your content, without a bunch of coding.

Become An Expert

Yes, you are already a professional, and by all means, an expert in
veterinary medicine, but so is that next guy with the DVM. Therefore,
you need to show potential clients that you are more of an expert then
that next guy. How do you do that? It’s quite easy actually, and
costs nothing, you simply write articles. Writing articles and
submitting them to online animal health websites is the best way to
become an “expert” at any subject and it costs nothing but
your time. Many of the “expert” veterinarians got that way
by writing for the journals and the trade publications but potential
clients do not read these veterinary trade publications and journals.
You need to become an “expert” to the pet owners by writing
articles for the consumer.

Take Dr. Alice Villalobos for example, writing an oncology column for
one specific veterinary trade magazine. Dr Villalobos is well known in
the veterinary community, but what you may not know is she is very well
known in the pet owner population also. She has taken many of her
articles and adapted them for pet owners, and has authorized these
articles for reprint on consumer websites such as AnimalHelp.Com. Pet
owners from around the United States contact AnimalHelp.Com requesting
her contact information because they are willing to cross country for a
chance for her to treat their pet’s cancer.

While you may not be looking for cross-country clients, your local
clientele will grow considerably when you become well known as a
veterinary “expert”. Whether you practice in a small town
or a big city, the local pet owners are undoubtedly online and
researching you, your practice, and your competitors. When they find
well-written veterinary medical articles by you on one of the large
national animal health websites, your reputation will grow, you can
ethically attract the cases you want by narrowing your article subjects
to specific topics, you will become an “expert” in the eyes
of your current and potential clients, and you will have differentiated
yourself from that next guy with the DVM.

Tying It All Together

Now you have a website and are writing articles for electronic
publication on your favorite animal health website. You will want to
make sure your author’s bio includes a link to your website and
your practice contact information. When your article is published on
the animal health website, this direct link will increase your
website’s search engine listing rank. Your name will also get
higher rankings in the search engines. When you “Google”
yourself, how many results are returned? Are they the results you want?
Having multiple articles published on a leading animal health website
will result in relevant, quality results from the search engines. Add a
link from your website to each of your articles published on the
consumer animal health website. This directs your potential clients to
your articles and let’s them see your “expertise” at
work.

For little to no money, you have just established yourself as an
“expert” and - even better, more of an “expert”
then that next guy with the DVM. Your reputation, your practice, and
your clientele will grow, and you didn’t have to take out a loan
to do it!

Wealth Magnet System provides the easiest way to leave your comfort zone.::. http://internet-celeb.blogspot.com/

Whether your comfort zone is having been unsuccessful with companies
like Perfect Wealth Formula, EDC Gold, Coastal Vacations or is your
corporate Job, or perhaps your an Internet Novice—whatever it is,
start with The Wealth Magnet System, and you will discover that
venturing beyond the limited comfort zone you now cling to is not as
stressful an experience as you imagined it might be. And the joy you
feel upon challenging yourself in this way will nearly always outweigh
your discomfort. As you continue to expand your comfort zone to include
the new ideas, activities, goals, and experiences, offered by The
Wealth Magnet System, you will see that you are capable of stimulating
change and coping with the fresh challenges that accompany it.

None of us are born with a guidebook that provides explicit rules
for thought and behavior that will enable us to navigate life
successfully. To cope with the myriad of complexities to which all of
humanity is subject, we each develop a set of habits and routines that
ground us, their continuity assuring us that life is progressing
normally. Most of us know, whether instinctively or by experience,
transformations can be uncomfortable, but we always learn and gain so
much. Any initial discomfort we experience when expanding our comfort
zones diminishes gradually as we both become accustomed to change and
begin to understand that temporary discomfort is a small price to pay
for the evolution of our life. And the Wealth Magnet System can be your
guidebook if becoming successful on the Internet is your dream.

Your current situation may have, at one time, served a purpose in
your life. And it is representative of behaviors and patterns of
thought that empowered you to cope with challenges of days past. Now,
this comfort zone does little to facilitate the growth you wish to
achieve in the present. Leaving your comfort zone behind through
personal expansion of any kind can prepare you to take the larger leaps
of faith that will, in time, help you refine your purpose. Work your
way outward at your own pace, with the Wealth Magnet System and try not
to let your discomfort interfere with your resolve. With the passage of
each well-earned triumph, you will have grown and your comfort zone
will have expanded to accommodate this evolution.

Whether your past has left you disillusioned or broke, there is a way
out, and with the Wealth Magnet System you are never left to suffer
alone in ignorance, Jim Mack and Bryon Howell are two of the most
successful Marketers online today, and with this unparallel mentoring
program, along with all the tools necessary to assure ones success they
have made The Wealth Magnet system accessible to anyone wanting to
learn and duplicate all the habits necessary to be a successful
Internet Marketer. The greatest asset to being a part of this exciting
business is having the right sponsor to mentor you, and who is just a
phone call away. That and the low cost is what set the Wealth Magnet
System apart from all the rest.

How To Find Free Advertising Vehicles That Work:: internet-celeb.blogspot.com

I get this question a lot. “Can you tell me great sites to
advertise on for free (or very little) money?” In the early days
of my home business career I followed other people’s advice and
advertised on the free and low cost ad sites they recommended.

Frankly, most sources, especially from popular teachers that have
training sites, are useless. These free advertising sites may have been
great sources when the teachers found them, but after thousands of
their pupils started advertising on them as well, (often promoting the
same opportunity) they’re pretty much useless.

The free advertising sites on how2succeedonline.net are much
fresher since I am constantly searching for new ones that have enough
traffic to deliver good results like CraigsList, Ablewise, Myspace, You
Tube, Adpost, Squidoo, Backpage, Ideamarketers and more.

Today however, I will teach you a technique that I use to find free
advertising sites that haven’t been so beat up with overuse. In
essence, I’m going to show you how to fish for free advertising
vehicles that will give you a constant stream of fresh, new advertising
venues with less competition.

This is so simple it will blow your mind…which is, of course,
true of many of the most successful techniques. By the way, I found
many of my favorite ad sites this way!

Let’s start by typing in “Business Opportunity”
into Google Search or any search engine you prefer. You can use the
keywords that you currently use to promote your business (i.e.
“make money online”, “Home Based Business”,
etc.). You can even do a search for the keyword of the opportunity you
represent like “EDC Gold” “PWF” or “1Step
System”, etc.

Then I look for optimized search results that appear on the left
side of the page (not the pay per click part of the page). As I go down
the page, I look for ads that are part of forums or ad sites.
You’ll find several ads on the top three pages that are
ad-posting on third party sites offering advertising vs. company owned
or opportunity sites that just talk about their product, service or
opportunity. Many of these sites offer free or low cost advertising.
And best of all, Google has found these sites and elevated their index
(so they appear on pages 1-3 of the search results), even in highly
competitive areas where popular keywords are used.

You’ll find more quality sites than you know what to do with, just with the use of a few keywords.

Next, place your ads on several of these sites. To maximize your
response, make sure your ad is keyword dense (lots of keywords repeated
throughout the text of the ad). If you do, not only will you benefit
from the traffic that advertising site produces, but you’ll also
benefit from the very high listing on Google and other search engines,
which will boost your traffic by possibly hundred fold.

Another technique you can try is typing the words “Free
Advertising Help” into Google. It’s not as good as my first
recommendation, but still better that joining other team members and
advertising on the same pages being used by thousands of direct
competitors.

On one of the next articles I’ll talk about is how to super
charge your ad for search optimization…you’ll be amazed.

It Is Time To Begin Thinking Outside The Desktop

Information is king. It is what drives the Internet. People have
discovered that they can turn to the Internet for answers to questions
and solutions to problems.

Websites are the most common source of these answers. But sometimes
the answers or solutions cannot be found on a website. In those cases
they may have to purchase and download an e-Book. These are often in a
pdf or exe file format that requires the reader to sit in front of
their desktop or laptop computer to read it. If the reader has been
working at a computer all day, they find little pleasure in facing a
computer screen to read an e-Book.

An increasing number of people carry a PDA (Pocket Digital
Assistant) around in their pocket or purse. These handheld size
computers were intended to serve as organizers for their schedules and
contacts. Another purpose for these Pocket PCs or Palms has been
discovered. That is as e-Book readers.

Commuters to work on light rail or BART trains are seen intensely
reading something from the screens of their pocket size computers. In
most cases, they are reading e-Books. They may be carrying dozens of
full size books in their shirt pocket. There has been an explosion of
books digitalized for reading on these devices. Most are either old
classics no longer under copyright or best sellers that may cost 80% of
their printed versions.

There is a void of e-Books in the area of self-help, business,
hobbies, and health available. This is where the InfoGoRound content is
perfect. Rather than try to compete with others who are converting this
content to pdf files for the desktop, the marketplace is wide open for
this content to be made available for the pocket size computers.

How can you convert a RTF file to be read on one of these devices?
First you need to decide which type of pocket size device you want to
aim for. The Pocket PCs come with Microsoft Reader, an excellent eBook
reader. This requires the .lit file format. The Palms can use several
readers, the eReader is excellent and they have their own eBook Studio
that creates their required format.

An excellent converter is the Text Converter from ABC Amber
Conversion software that will convert RTF to .lit, .pdf, html, and
several other files types, even one for the Blackberry. You can read
about it at http:///www.processtext.com/index.html

You will be doing a huge portion of our population a big favor if you convert your content for these pocket size computers.

Need A Professional Web Designer?… 5 Things To Look For

You have decided to hire a professional to do your web design. The
problem is that not all of them are professional. Some are working with
knowledge that is out of date, and some of them are working out of the
basement that belongs to their parent’s!

What you need to know:

1. Qualifications are worthless. Unless the person has a proper
graphical design background, almost all of the web design training is
learned at a community college part time and not very credible. Unless
the person you are qualifying can explain XHTML and CSS to you and why
they are good for your website, stay clear.

2. A good web designer will have a diverse portfolio and lots of
attractive sites they have built for their customers. They will also be
able to explain to you why they designed the site the way it looks. If
a person does not have a substantial portfolio, get them to do a first
draft design to display their skill to you.

3. Your designer candidate needs to realize that they are building
your website for users. This means all users regardless of technical
ability and which web browser they are using. Amateur web designers
tend to come up with what they think are impressive looking pages while
ignoring the visitors who will come to your site. Ask the prospect
which browsers they will test the web site on? (answer: as many as
possible) What is the purpose of the website? (answer: explain the
point of the site very simply).

4. Many web designers have no idea what to charge for their
services. When you ask, you will get bids form $50 to $5,000. Both of
these are ridiculous as one of them may be from a non English speaking
foreigner and the other a committee that will accomplish little. Look
for an independent individual as opposed to a corporate type person. Be
willing to negotiate the price but never agree to a let them do
whatever it takes to make a good site and pay by the hour!

5. Be very wary of any web designer who tries to sell you a whole
package; domain name, web hosting, etc. Most of these types of
operations have huge flaws in one area or the other. They will either
be web hosting specialists who think designing web pages is easy or
designers who are reselling some cheap hosting package for a huge
profit. It’s best to buy the hosting yourself.

Keep these five points in mind when looking for that perfect web designer.

What Is A Blog And Why Have One?

A blog is a short-cut name for a web log. It used to be known only
as an online journal where angst-ridden teens vent out their daily
rants and raves. Voyeurism became the fad. No one started to become
“someone” through blogging. No talent
scout needed, no silver spoon in one’s mouth upon birth required.
All you need is a trusty computer, some typing skills, the urge to
write just about anything, and voila! You can create your own blog!

In the beginning it was just students and youngsters that got bitten
by the blogging bug. Now, almost anyone of any age and status can
participate in the blogosphere - the community of bloggers.

But before one decides to jump into the bandwagon of blogging, it is
important to note what one’s purpose is for blogging. Choose from
these varieties of functions that a blog can deliver:

Political Blogging

Putting up a blog for the purpose of getting in touch with people
who have critical information to either share or contend with is one of
the trendiest functions of blogging nowadays.

Not many have been involved with blogging about their daily agenda
yet while lip servicing, or doing community service or any
government-related events compared to the next blog purpose.

Opinionated Blogging

Just like political blogging, these kinds of blogs teeming with the
author/s’ comments backed with hyperlinks is what keep
opinionated blogging thrive. However, opinionated blogging can be
sometimes just become an outlet for personal frustrations or just any
personal blog that does not necessarily delve into pure politics. It
can talk about products or services that one finds either good or bad.
An opinionated blog can also be just the generic blog that details
one’s daily life.

Niche Blogging

These blogs could either be personal or group blogs that target a
certain market. Hobbyists often create these blogs. So, if you are into
badminton or other racket sports, your niche blog will only or usually
only be composed of posts that are related to rackets sports. Niche
blogs are often monetized either through including advertisements or
selling text links. They become feasible as source of income due to the
well-targeted readers that often subscribe to them.

Splogs or spam blogs are the frowned upon versions of niche blogs.
This is when a blog becomes a whole big bunch of uninformative and
keyword-stuffed entries that aim to just trick search engines to throw
traffic their way. This traffic is then tricked to click to
advertisements or buy products from other sites that the blog owner is
affiliated with.

Educational Blogging

This type of blogging has been gaining more and more popularity as
instructors become more and more learned of the benefits of blogging to
their teaching endeavors. Educators who focus on writing skills as
their forte in teaching are fast becoming obsessed with the
user-friendliness of blogs in communicating information to students
while accessing technology. Other teachers make use of blogs to impart
lessons of the day or readings for the day or even schedules of quizzes
and other school-related events. Blogs can be of great help, too if one
prefer to learn through online education.

Blogging for Online Promotion of a Business

Business blogging or corporate blogging is also one of the most
popular functions of putting up a blog. More and more large companies
(those with sales of more than $50 million per year) are starting to
see the importance of blogging for their businesses. Aside from
updating their partners, customers and potential clients about the
important events and evolution of the company, corporate blogging can
also aid promote further a business.

With business blogging, other individual bloggers, who may take
interest in whatever announcements or updates or changes that the
company is undergoing, echo what the corporate blog states. The coveted
informal dialog that any kind of blog accomplishes is what makes
corporate blogging an ideal tool for grassroots online marketing.

There you go! Whether you want a blog to just talk about your day or
to endorse your business, remember to always offer useful or
enlightening content. This is what usually makes any kind of blog
successful. Happy blogging!
