Some people have generated the hype that one can make money by
reading emails, clicking on links, Pay Per Post, sharing of videos and
photographs. Nothing can be far from the truth.
In another article I have indicated how making money by doing surveys
is fallacious. The same comments apply more or less to the above
mentioned schemes.
I have been involved in a few programs for reading emails. I never got
a penny from these. At best it may take years to reach the minimum
payout of $10.
First, you will not get enough emails. Second, most of them pay less
than a cent, or even a quarter of a cent. I know one program paying
1/10th of a cent. How ridiculous. With this much of payment, one will
be toiling whole day for a few cents.
Lastly, their minimum payment is $10 or more. They have ensured that no one reaches that payout for a very long time.
I am also involved in a few programs aimed at clicking of links. Again,
I never got any payment. In one program, I have reached about $8 after
a long time, with payout at $10. I am stuck at this amount because now
I don't get any links. I wonder if they do it purposely in order to
keep me and others like me out of payment, being so close.
As regards clicking of links, there aren't enough. Here again, it may take up to a year or more to reach the payout amount.
I believe somewhat in one Pay Per Click program. I have not reached the
payout stage, but I hope I will make it there. Once I am paid, I will
write about it in my blog. It is essentially a penny game and it really
takes a long time, enough to get discouraged.
Pay Per Post is another scheme run by numerous websites. In this
whenever you write something and post it, you are supposed to be paid a
penny or two. One popular program in this category is myLot.com. I used
to be credited at an average of 3 pennies per post. But now this has
gone down to about one cent. I have read from many members on myLot to
have experienced similar declines in their credit. I have never been
paid on that site so far, with a credit of about $7.
I have no personal experience about videos or photographs. However, I
have read discouraging reports regarding the latter. Making money with
videos might be a better idea.
There are so many variations of the above programs. They keep on appearing in one form or the other.
What one can conclude from my writings is that it is a sheer wastage of
one's time, resources and aspirations. So before getting discouraged,
one should not even think of these false money making schemes.
Question is what do the authors of these programs gain? By floating
these schemes, they advertise their products, sell fictitious
memberships to gullible readers, get their addresses and personal
information for trading.
My ultimate advice - beware. There can be better uses of your time, energy and resources.
